Chaperoning Not Cat, or at least checking up on him from time to time, I’ve played with my camera in the dark, using flash, which I rarely do normally.
I found the results interesting, though far from perfect,

It does create an interesting effect. I like the fronds; they look glaucous and eucalyptus-like
I like the lavender against the inky background.
I’ve not looked at the histograms, but I imagine the effects could be quite dramatic.
Our garden in London has more, and brighter lights, so I am not sure I could experiment in the same way there. I’ll have to make the most of the scheme garden while I’m coming and going to clear mother’s flat.
Off to the hospital now.
