October Garden (and the Cat)

First I was eclipsed by Cat, now people commenting on my page are telling me the posts they like the best feature MasterB. What’s a woman to do? If I were to follow WordPress Guidelines I would just post cat photos here, but as I am not seeking domination of the blogosphere, and just want a little corner of it to call my own, there will continue to be posts about the flotsam and jetsam of my life. So here are some photos of the garden, and one of MasterB.
Our roses bloom on, and they have a fragile air compared to their summer glory. The leaves are dropping, changing colour. The strawberry fruit land on the paving slabs and look like pieces in a board game. MasterB is in and out, playing, pouncing, climbing and hunting. This picture of him on the stairs shows him with a sweet face. It won’t make the calendar because of the background unless I learn some fancy editing techniques.

  1. Always love reading your narrative and your photos are great – but I didn’t get MasterB’s sweet face. Maybe it will come up when I try another loading method. And I’ll get over feeling cheated out of the part of your blog that never fails to bring a smile to my lips and joy to my heart. 🙂 I always look for forward to reading your posts no matter what the subject.

      • Very interesting. On Reader I see all pictures, then when I click to bring up your post I loose the leaves, the second rose, and MasterB. When I clicked on one of the images, I got them all in a slide show.

        • I am confused by the new gallery thingy. It seems to changed old galleries too, so I don’t understand how I can make choices between different galleries for different posts. I need patience to read the WordPress bumph.

  2. I’m a fan of the flotsam and jetsam of your life too……MasterB is a doll so it’s hard not to want all the posts to be bits and pieces about his adventures BUT well-rounded blogospheric contributions are what you do best so carry on Miss Isobel! 😀

  3. I love your little corner of your own in the blogosphere. While it was NotCat that initially had me pouring over your blog at night when I couldn’t sleep, it was das Boot and flowers and London and all the “flotsam and jetsam” of your life that I look forward to. This blog is uniquely you Isobel and your words are lovely. Just a little secret..I often put off reading just so I can enjoy the anticipation and have some time all to myself with no interruptions… 🙂
