Not the usual vehicles we see parked outside houses in this part of London. It belongs to a local artist with weakness for old machines.
This week’s challenge is for a green gallery, so this post may change during the week if I add some more pictures.
And it’s painted John Deere green! woo woo woo!
What’s John Deere green? Apart from being the colour?
I love it!
I love seeing classics like this.
I keep telling you, move south…
Wonderful against the fallen leaves!
It was in the same place tonight. I do like spotting it wherever he can find a parking space.
Nice truck Isobel! We would love to have that over here on the Tiny Ten!
Stand in line, Pix! Mine! I even have an excellent mechanic lined up!
I keep saying that when I win the lottery, and after I’m all philanthropic ‘n’ sh&t, I’ll finally buy a good ole Studebaker pickup! OK, maybe not AFTER…. <:-O
Just make mine yellow or country orange Laurel!
Whatever country orange is, you know that rust color.
*natural* rust color?!
Well I have a back end of a pick up with the color I like that I snapped but I don’t see it getting posted anytime soon. I am blogged out I think. Kind of a Fall orange not bright orange like a pumpkin.. 🙂 Maybe a faded out Kubota tractor color….. with rust!
But it is still a spiritual colour, so not bad at all.
Could it be a ginger sort of orange?
Oh but the shipping! A calendar costs enough already.
The shipping! That ding dang shipping!! A ginger sort of color would work.. 🙂
I’ll have a word when I see him next. 🙂
Beautiful shot, Isobel! And beautiful truck!
ah yes… being blogged out….
I love tractors–one of my nicknames is “Tractor!” Well, there’s Rocket, too….. <:-D
glad you're commenting so I get to see you around! –L.
Tractor? Rocket?.. 🙂
Remember: I’m *interesting*! <:-O hee hee hee! (Hi Isobel! We know we're on your blog!)
Lovely shot! This really is a unique vehicle and it really has some unique green. The artist who has a thing for old machines must really be a unique artist. You too are unique for picking interest in all these unique things.
Unique post!
🙂
He is a very good artist.
