Weekly Photo Challenge: Changing Seasons

I’ve been posting and running all this week, and tonight is no exception. At some point I shall catch up, and I am looking forward to seeing the interpretations for this theme.
Here in London it is definitely winter. Cold, mostly blue skies, but some white ones as in this picture which was mid afternoon today, the light starting to seep out of the sky. Snow promises from not too far away. It is easy to imagine this as a shard of ice.

Half an hour later, the setting sun lit up this building, giving it a touch of glamour at odds with its design.

  2. lol ‘cold shard’ very nice. I am pleased to hear there are at least blue skis even if it is cold. I am in Australia at the moment but heading back to London in Jan….scared of the cold

  13. i think london is somehow covered with ice now, but here it shows no sign of rain, this year is weird, the whole christmas-new year vacation is sunny, the weather is really weird this year
