  1. So pretty. Makes you understand why they call here the garden of England. Kentish blackberries taste better than anywhere else in England! I absolutely love going and picking some off the wild bushes at a nearby heath land. Which church is that?

    • Absolutely. We saw lots of acorns, a few ripening Kent cobs and more blackberries than we could imagine. We ate them in the morning, got worried after lunch that we should have picked them earlier and then found a gorgeous patch of low growing berries. My East Anglian blackberries tasted pretty good too! But this must be the best weekind to gather. If it rains they will go off.
      The church is St Michael, West Peckham.
