I have posted quite a number of photos of reflections here in the past, most, like this one, taken when I have been at das Boot. Swans, fenders, boats have all featured. But I have chosen this one because it is the trees and the branches that are reflected; nothing boaty; nothing waterfowl. I like that.
The boat is solidly at home in the water. The trees, belonging to dry land are shimmering; insubstantial in an alien element.
I like that too Isobel. Are you getting about okay ?
Not bad, I find I am tiring v quickly. The brushing is coming out and my fingers are purple and yellow.
I like the trees and their branches reflected in the water too. Like the anchor, lines and the scrubbin’ brush too.. 🙂
Glad you like the evidence of domesticity too. Those things always draw me in.
