Tonight I am keen to achieve my objective of sleep before midnight, so this is a necessarily short post, but with pictures.

    • It’s one of my favourites. The flower beds are wonderful; the park is famous for its birds; you will never meet such moorhens, used as they are to people from the moment they hatch; foreign visitors are enraptured by the squirrels, natives rather less so; views of WestminsterAbbey, the Eye, and Parliament in the distance…

  1. I can’t believe that we are still (rightly) talking about autumn. I should have my winter gloves out & my bright shoes put away but they are on my feet! Love it!

  2. how lovely! enjoyed these.

November seems to have had some exceptionally sunny days in this corner of the planet in this corner of the planet. enjoyed a walk in a local park this afternoon, and i was busy clicking. will probably post some images one of these days. autumn is such a brilliant time of year….

    • My favourite time is spring, but the colours of autumn can delight. Yesterday was a wet dull day, but across the street, I could see a pile f unswept leaves that glowed like a golden light. Quite amazing.
