I am guessing Uncle Bill will like this photo from last night the best, not for its technical skill (it doesn’t have any), but he seems to enjoy the ones of MasterB looking less than suave.
I prefer the ones I took today in the garden. This picture for instance.
Having worked yesterday, Bank Holiday Monday, I had the day off today. My washing was on the line, MasterB was in the garden, I had my camera. I want some pictures of him in the tree. He keeps going up into the branches when I do not have my camera. It was sunny and warm, no hardship to sit on the grass.
MasterB seemed to enjoy sitting on the grass too. He showed no inclination to climb the tree.
He and I sat on.
Eventually I had to come in and get on with my chores. MasterB came too, and lay on the carpet.
If you do like pictures of cats, I do hope you enjoy these. Obviously they are not as good as having a cuddle with his gingerness, and I am lucky enough to enjoy both how he looks and the living, breathing cat.
MasterB is one gorgeous, gorgeous cat. Thanks for sharing these with us, Isobel. And for me personally, the more photos of cats, the happier I am. Thank you for cheering me up on a day when I sorely needed cheering up and a reason to smile.
My pleasure June. I am sorry you have not had a happy day. I am glad MasterB has helped.
There really is nothing quite like a ginger cat!! My dear departed Ginger cat called unsurprised Ginger also loved the camera…my latest feline chum actually the cat next door who comes round when his folks leave for work is a black cat and they are SO hard to capture on film. Master B is seriously a photogenic lad…definitely some great contenders for the calendar…glad to hear you two had a great day relaxing together in sunshine.
I shall get a picture of him in the tree! At least hope so. Both Cat and MasterB have been seriously photogenic. Capturing Son of Buster, aka Sonny, was harder, as he was a black cat.
The cattery had a rescue cat who had been black, but had been in so many fights his coat was completely flecked with grey or white. I must find out where he is now.
My fave is pink ears!! Gorgeous & now I’d love a cuddle. Have had my grand daughter with me all day so that makes up for it but she doesn’t stay still!
I’ll give him a cuddle on your behalf!
Thank you!
Love the lighting in bluebell, and the pose of pink ears. He’s a gorgeous boy 😀
I am obviously not going to disagree. I should love to know about his parentage. he is a fortunate mix.
Isobel! All these picture are awesome!!! “Stand up happy tail” with the happy flowers… so sweet! The last picture is adorable and my personal favorite you have taken ever!!!! You did some great clicking. Of course, the subject is very interesting and very handsome. Good luck to you picking out photos for the calendar!
I love the not “dignified pose”… 🙂
By the evening the grass had been mown and the flowers were gone.
I like the happy tail too.
The last one is like the one of him in the bag from a year or so ago. Minus bag…
His expression is darling in the last click and the lighting is interesting… a very nice picture.
“Undignified?” Hardly! While he does appear to be relaxing in his Seraglio with expectations of service, the angles in that pose are quite striking. Did you have to work with the model extensively to get that hedonistic insouciance or did he come up with it himself? Viewed “Pink Ears” with your brilliant Magnifying Mesmerizing Cat Feature in the hope of his disclosing the meaning of life. He did not confirm that the answer is 42.
The pose is the *model’s own*, and one he has spent time perfecting, usually across my feet at night.
Questioned about the meaning of life, his delphic reply was *biscuits*.
Master B is just lying back and saying “peel me mouse”! Or is he swooning from too much catnip?
Neither. 🙂 he’s just relaxing after an evening prowling the garden.
Oh my. With your very nice comment on one of my posts and getting a good dose of MasterB, I know I will sleep well tonight.
You know I seem unsubscribed again. I am only getting a couple of blogs in reader. It is mysterious and annoying. That, combined with spending.less.time on WP means I am missing lots of posts.
Still, on the bright side, it is nice to get to your page and find a host of fab photos I have not seen before!
I assume you were nearly nose to nose to capture ‘pink ears’!
Zoom lens!
Oh my
🙂
OoooH!
I have enjoyed all of them. All. But the last one is surprisingly interesting and singular: I just do love it completely!
Maybe you need to be on the calendar list for 2016…
I’m pleased to hear that! A great thank you!
Yes, pink ears is my favourite too – definitely a calendar one.
