It’s dark by six o’clock, I have seen at least one pub decorated with holly and fake snow, restaurants are taking bookings for office Christmas parties, but most significantly The Ginger Ninja 2022 calendar has arrived. Catful too, Smudge the black and white cat who is shyer than Dizzy who sashays into every room as though he owns it, and snuggles up to Poppy in her bed whether he is welcome or not, decided I was safe company and was very affectionate. She also slept on my bed most days once I had vacated it!
