It is a fun wonderful calendar and MasterB’s pictures are awesome with him being BIG up close and personal.
Forget about Beaujolais nouveau, le calendrier du Ginger Ninja 2014 est arrivé! The perfect present for the discerning friend.
I was surprised and pleased when someone looking at it asked me if the photographer had come round several times to capture MasterB’s charms, so I take it the result looks pretty professional.
This photograph was taken a moment ago under electric light and does not really do the cover justice, so maybe I shall take another in daylight and replace it. But here goes.
More fiddly bits for the boy’s calendar. I had assumed the printer would have templates for the months of the calendar. Wrong. So that was a new task for today.
Julia wanted to know if there would be room to write. There is. This is how a month will look.

Here are the final thirteen photos.
I searched through my photos again yesterday to see if I had a decent landscape phot of MasterB looking out of the boat. No joy. Lots of almost decent ones. But I did find myself stopping and looking at others, so here’s a second list of possibles. I like the fact that there are a few different poses her. Obviously, it’s easiest to photograph him when he’s asleep, but sometimes I just manage to get the whole cat in the frame at the same time.
Over to you. There are thirty six pictures here, but three can’t be used as they are portrait and I need landscape.

One For The Calendar?
The calendar is at the back of my mind. I’ve not done a lot of thinking about quantities still. The two people whos seem most interested here are Pix and Pat, and that would be a separate order as postage to the US is ridiculously high.
I’m thinking far more about a range of photos. I was working from home this afternoon, knee deep in paper as the sitting room still testifies. For a brief half hour, the sun came out on what has been a spectacularly colourless day.
I dropped my pen, grabbed my camera and headed into the garden. I wanted MasterB to come with me. This is the same cat who woke me up at five trying to dig a hole through my back and wailed piteously when I wouldn’t let him go out. He did get out between seven and eight, and he seems to have decided that is enough frsh air for today. So no photos of him romping in the sunshine, just these:
Or This One?
